Tour Itinerary

Start your adventure at 7:00 AM with a pickup from your Agadir lodging. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous film location, for lunch and exploration. Then travel the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through the Rose Valley and Dades Valley. Overnight stay at a hotel/riad in Tinghir or Dades Valley.
After breakfast, head towards Merzouga, passing through the Todra Valley with its Berber communities and palm groves. Explore the Todra Gorge with its towering cliffs. Continue through Berber villages like Tinjdad, Melaab, and Erfoud. Upon reaching Erg Chebbi sand dunes, embark on a camel ride to your luxury desert camp. Enjoy a stunning sunset, traditional Berber music around the campfire, and a starry night. Overnight in the desert camp.
Wake up early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga and begin your journey back to Marrakech. Travel through Rissani, Alnif, Tazarine, and N’kob, and enjoy the scenic drive through the Draa Valley, with its historic Kasbahs and Berber villages. Stop for lunch in Ouarzazate before crossing the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening and conclude your tour with a drop-off at your accommodation.

It is roughly 1 hour for sunset and another hour for sunrise the following day. Time depends on season, Day light saving time, and sunset/sunrise time.

 

You can. a 4×4 will be offered to transfer you from Merzouga lodge to Erg Chebbi desert camp for an extra fee of 30 Euros ( Included in luxury tent option )

 

There will be a few sand boards available at the camp operator’s lodge to use at leisure ( Availability not guaranteed ). You can ask for one to take to the camp with you. They are free of charge
