Tour Itinerary

Begin your 8-day adventure departing from Marrakech in the morning, journeying toward the Dades Valley. As you ascend the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, you’ll pass through the iconic Tizi N-Tichka pass at an altitude of 2,260 meters. Along the way, visit the world-renowned Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a backdrop for films like Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven. Enjoy stunning views of the colorful landscapes and traditional Berber villages as we stop at various scenic viewpoints. In Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert, visit the historic Kasbah Taourirt and the famous film studios. Continue along the picturesque “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” to reach Boumalne Dades for dinner and an overnight stay in a charming Riad or hotel.
After a traditional Moroccan breakfast, we continue toward the dramatic Todra Gorges via the town of Tinghir. Here, you can take a leisurely walk through the towering 300-meter-high canyons and capture stunning photos of this natural wonder, a favorite among rock climbers. In the afternoon, we journey towards the mesmerizing dunes of Merzouga. After lunch along the way, you’ll arrive at Erg Chebbi just in time to ride camels into the heart of the desert. As you trek across the dunes, take in the awe-inspiring sunset from the top of the highest dunes before reaching your desert camp. Enjoy a delicious dinner accompanied by Berber drum music around the campfire, and spend the night under the stars in a traditional or luxury desert camp.
Rise early to witness a magical sunrise over the Sahara, a moment to remember. After breakfast, you’ll camel trek back to your hotel in Merzouga to meet your driver. The day’s exploration includes a visit to the village of Khamlia, where you’ll experience the rich spiritual rhythms of traditional Gnawa music, performed by locals. Afterward, take a 4×4 off-road adventure around the dunes to discover the lifestyle of the nomads, visit their tents, and witness the way of life in the desert. You’ll also have the chance to visit old mines and palm tree oases. In the evening, you have free time to explore the streets of Merzouga before relaxing at your accommodation.
Today, bid farewell to the Sahara as we head towards Midelt. Along the way, stop in Rissani to explore its lively souk, a true glimpse of local life. Continue on to Erfoud, known for its fossils, before traveling through the lush Ziz Valley, a stunning oasis of date palms. Admire the scenic Ziz Gorges, carved through volcanic rock, as we pass through the Tizi N Talghamt pass. Arrive in Midelt, nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains, for dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.
After breakfast, we travel from Midelt to Fes, passing through picturesque Berber villages in the Middle Atlas. Along the way, stop in the famous cedar forest of Azrou to see the playful Barbary apes in their natural habitat. Continue to the beautiful alpine town of Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before arriving in the imperial city of Fes. Enjoy a relaxing evening in your hotel or Riad.
Explore the ancient wonders of Fes on a guided city tour. Begin in the bustling medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you’ll visit historic landmarks such as the Al Quaraouin University, the Nejjarine Museum, the Jewish Quarter, and the famous leather tanneries. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore the winding streets of the old medina at your own pace. Overnight in your hotel or Riad in Fes.
After breakfast, depart Fes and head toward Rabat, stopping first at the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this well-preserved archaeological marvel offers a glimpse into Morocco’s Roman past. Next, visit Meknes, where you’ll explore the famous Bab El Mansour gate, the vibrant Lahdim Square, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Arrive in Rabat, Morocco’s capital, and visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V. Overnight in a hotel or Riad in Rabat.
On the final day of your journey, depart from Rabat in the morning and make your way to Casablanca, where you’ll visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco and home to the world’s second-tallest minaret. Afterward, continue back to Marrakech. Upon arrival, spend the rest of the day exploring the vibrant Jemaa El-Fna square or enjoying the city at your leisure.
