The 2 Nights Camel Trekking in the Merzouga desert begins in the late afternoon. We organize the camel ride for the two nights in the desert from a hotel near the sand dunes. In this trip, you’ll visit two kinds of desert sand dunes and the black desert near the border between Morocco and Algeria. The trek will take you to the highest sand dunes in the heart of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes (Merzouga desert), offering a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise from the highest dunes. After arriving at the camp, we will leave the camels, take the sandboards, and climb the highest dunes to watch the sunset and enjoy sandboarding. At the camp, there will be a wonderful dinner and Berber drum music around a fire in the middle of the Sahara desert. It will be a magical night when the sky is often clear, and the stars sparkle and shine. You will spend the night in a private nomad tent.

You can wake up early to watch the sunrise. After breakfast in the camp, we will ride the camels to visit an oasis in the Sahara and have lunch there. After relaxing, we will ride the camels back to the camp, leave the camels, and walk to the highest dunes in Merzouga. We will return to the camp after watching the sunset, enjoying dinner and an overnight stay in nomad tents.

In the morning, after a shower and a hearty breakfast in the desert camp, we will ride the camels back to Merzouga. You can choose to return from the camp by camel or by 4×4 car as an alternative option.
