Tour Itinerary

Upon arrival in Fes, your driver will meet you at the airport and escort you to your riad or hotel. Enjoy dinner and relax for the night.

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Fes. Start with the modern city, visiting the Royal Palace and the Jewish Quarter (Mellah). From a viewpoint, take in panoramic views of the old medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through the maze-like streets of this medieval city, where history comes alive. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

Today, visit Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman ruins in North Africa, known for its stunning mosaics. Continue to Meknes, once a key city of the Roman Empire and later an Imperial city. After exploring Meknes, drive to Rabat, Morocco’s modern capital. Visit key landmarks like Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Kasbah of the Oudayas. Overnight in Rabat.

After breakfast, visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture. Continue your journey to Marrakech, where you’ll explore the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, a vibrant hub of Moroccan culture. Overnight in Marrakech.

Today, a local guide will take you on a tour of Marrakech. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the colorful Majorelle Gardens. Enjoy the lively souks and the charm of the old medina. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

Leave Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the historic Kasbah Telouet, known for its beautiful architecture. Continue to the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular film location. After lunch, head to Ouarzazate and the scenic Dades Valley. Overnight in a local hotel or riad.

After breakfast, explore the dramatic Dades Gorges and continue through the Todra Gorges, with their towering cliffs. Drive through Erfoud and Rissani before arriving in Merzouga, where you’ll be welcomed with mint tea. Spend the night in a desert hotel or riad.

Start the day by visiting the Khamlia village, home to the Gnawa people, and enjoy their traditional music. Explore the Meffes Mines before having tea with a Berber family in the desert. In the afternoon, embark on a camel trek through the Erg Chebbi dunes and spend the night in a Berber camp under the stars.

After a morning camel ride and breakfast, depart for Rissani and pass through Erfoud. Enjoy the scenic Ziz Valley, and stop in Azrou to see the famous Barbary apes in the cedar forest. Continue to Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Switzerland,” and arrive in Fes for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy some free time in Fes before your transfer to the airport for your departure. This concludes your 10-day journey through Morocco’s Imperial Cities and the Sahara.
